This paper aims at offering a starting point for learners and practitioners for anxiety disorders and cognitive behavior therapies who wish to read and write literatures on these topics. The last quarter century has witnessed the great development of both concepts. The first half of the paper reviews the overall changes and context which enabled these changes. The last half describes the strength and the weakness in the concepts of anxiety disorders and cognitive behavior therapies.
